Irish Fest on the Hill 2026 — Knoxville

Immaculate Conception Church throws open its downtown Knoxville grounds for one of the city’s biggest one-day parties of the summer, and it has nothing to do with Sunday service. Irish Fest on the Hill packs six hours of live bands, Irish step dancers, Gaelic men’s games demonstrations, a silent auction, and historic church tours onto the same block, with Irish food and drink flowing the entire time. It is the kind of only-in-Knoxville afternoon where you can watch a caber toss, grab a pint, and wander into a 19th-century sanctuary tour before the next band even sets up.

Gates open at 4 PM at 414 W. Vine Ave in downtown Knoxville, with tickets sold only at the gate for $15 (cash or card) and kids 12 and under free. Street parking downtown fills up fast once the bands start, so plan on one of the nearby public lots and expect to be on your feet for a while between the games and the dancing.
