Kick off the weekend early at Sequoyah Marina’s Funky Friday — a weekend breakfast buffet and live music on the deck overlooking Norris Lake. It’s the low-key daytime kickoff before the lake gets busy, with good food and a friendly crowd.

Friday Wings Night at Sequoyah Marina on Norris Lake. Load up on wings, cold drinks, and lake breeze — then stay for the sunset. 5–9 PM.

One of Norris Lake’s most beloved traditions — Concert in the Cove is a massive boat tie-up at Short Hollow Cove on the Powell River arm (between Day Markers 11 and 12). Live bands all day as hundreds of boaters raft up. Pack the cooler and bring your best anchor.
