Head of the Hooch Regatta 2026 – Sunday at Ross’s Landing
Meet your crew on the Chattanooga riverfront for the Sunday session of Head of the Hooch. The annual regatta sends rowing shells down a timed course on the Tennessee River to the finish near Ross’s Landing. Sunday features masters crews alongside other divisions, and the park puts you close to the action as boats make their final push. The Riverwalk offers another vantage point if your group wants to move around between races.
The Chattanooga Market lists Sunday’s free riverfront program from 8 AM to 3 PM on November 8. Food trucks and vendors are on site during the regatta. Check the organizer’s race schedule before leaving and allow extra time for downtown road closures and parking.
