Memphis Jazz Festival 2026

Memphis Jazz Festival turns Main Street into a three-day celebration of the citys deep jazz roots, with local players, national artists, and an easy downtown setting for a full daytime outing. The inaugural event is free and open to the public, giving a group room to catch sets, explore the surrounding blocks, and build lunch or drinks into the plan without committing to an evening-only show. It is more than routine venue programming: this is a defined city festival with a specific October weekend, a public downtown footprint, and a new annual-scale reason to gather. Check the organizers schedule before heading out, arrive with comfortable walking shoes, and leave time to wander between performances.
